Sunday In The Store Event!
It was a lovely Sunday afternoon at The Store from River Road with Holly Blalock of CR Laine from North Carolina and our own Monmouth County native Meg Fox of DesignNJ magazine. Holly gave a terrific presentation on color, fabrics, textiles and trends which brought ohh and ahhs from the crowd. She layered working table fabric over fabric combining and creating stunning visuals while telling a great story about the process she goes through for CR Laine to find the next season’s big color statement. Holly brought two beautiful handmade CR Laine pillows which she raffled off to lucky attendees! Meg Fox of Design NJ brought her expertise to all that is New Jersey. She understands where our area is in the rebuild personally and professionally. DesignNJ gave free 1 year subscriptions to all participants! The Store from River Road was the perfect venue – an intimate and comfortable setting with great food and drink, gifts for everyone with a wonderful working table presentation.
