Semantics is the branch of linguistics that studies language akna m. According Chaer (1990: 2) semantics is a field of study in linguistics that studies the meaning or meanings in language. Objects discussed by semantically cover the whole meaning contained in the language. As stated by Nikelas (1988) in Ainin and Asrori (2008), that object semantics is the study of meaning christchurch boys high that include symbols or signs stating the meaning, the meaning of relationships, the one with the other and the effect and meaning to the human language user community.
Meaning can be discussed from two approaches, namely christchurch boys high analytical and or referential approach and operational christchurch boys high approaches (Pateda, 1985: 48). In this paper the author will discuss the analytical approach using field theory and the theory of meaning komponensial.
Discussion of the meaning of terrain covering some substance which field sense of meaning, function field theory of meaning, syntagmatic relations, paradigmatic relations, word identification

is the meaning of the terrain, and the advantages and disadvantages theory of meaning. A description of the substances terrain following meanings.
Field of meaning is one method or approach to analyze the meaning contained in the word or lexical elements. This theory was put forward by Trier (semantic field: 1931), Lounsbury (lexical field: 1956), and other linguistic experts with different designations. Hartimurti (1982) in Chaer (1990: 113) states that the field of meaning (semantic field, the domain) is part of the system that describes the semantics of the language part of the reality in the field of culture or a particular universe which realized a set of lexical items related meaning. According to Umar (1982) in Ainin and Asrori (2008:108), meaning field (al-haqlu ad-dillali) is a set or collection of words whose meanings are related.
This theory asserts that in order for us to understand the meaning of a word, then we must also understand the meaning of a set of related vocabulary. Based on the above explanation, we can take the example of the name of the colors, furniture

names, or the names of shipping terms that can form a specific meaning field.
In Arabic, the word alwan has a series of words whose meaning is related, namely ahmar 'red', Azraq 'blue', ashfar christchurch boys high 'yellow', ahdlar 'green', and abyadl, 'white'. We also recognize kinship terms in Indonesian, for example, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, piut, father / fathers, mothers, grandfathers, grandmothers, fathers, great-grandfather, uncle, aunt, brother, sister, brother, cousin, nephew, wife, husband, brother-in-law, daughter, and besan (Chaer, 2002).
The words that are within the scope of the field meaning sat u have a relationship. The relationship could be a relationship syntagmatic or paradigmatic relations. Syntagmatic relations can also be called the collocation relationship. Collocation itself comes from the Latin meaning christchurch boys high colloco no place equal to (Chaer, 1990). The meaning of relationship is also referred to in relation prasentia (Kridalaksana (1984) in Ainin and Asrori, 2008: 109). For instance, the words of doctors, nurses, syringes, and wards. Those words are in a collocation or the scope of the discussion about the hospital. Another christchurch boys high example, the words of faculty, students, campus, and courses berkolokasi in talks on the course. In the distribution of the types of meaning are also the meaning of collocation types. This collocation meaning is the meaning of the word in relation to other words that have the same place in a construction or linguistic environment (Ainin and Asrori, 2008: 49). Examples gorgeous and handsome. Both are two words that are within the scope of the language because each show the beauty. However, the two words can not be combined with each pair of two words.

Beautiful couple is handsome while women are male partner. Then it can not be said of men and women looking beautiful.
Meanwhile paradigmatic relationship is also referred to the relationship set. Ie words that arriving in a set and are interchangeable (Chaer, 1990: 117). This relationship is also called a relationship of meaning christchurch boys high in absentia (Kridalaksana (1984) in Ainin and Asrori, 2008: 110). In Arabic, the paradigmatic relations christchurch boys high can be seen in the following sentences.
Based on the above at some examples we can see that the word ذهب - المدرسة - سوربايا - الميدان are in the field of meaning that has meaning and is not bound relationship. The word can be paired with ذهب المدرسة, سوربايا or الميدان.
How to identify the meaning of meaning using field theory as follows. Define the word to be identified. For example the letter. Connect with other words. For example postman, stamps, and money orders. Summarize the meaning field. For example, talks post office.
