The mural prepared by students EEUPR, bears the message "Avoid killing the elf on the shelf Animals with garbage, create, reuse, recycle instead for the benefit of all of us" and was built with garbage waste such as plastic bottles, cardboard, bottle caps cans, foam, etc. The sixth graders Elementary School of the University of Puerto Rico (EEUPR), opened yesterday with teachers and peers a mural constructed with recycled material in which they were working the elf on the shelf throughout the semester and which will compete in Europe next May. Spain, Mexico and Puerto Rico, among others. All participating countries were invited by the Ministry of Education in Austria to present their projects at the beginning of June.
Although students may not attend the presentation for economic reasons, Professor Santiago will on behalf of the group. However, because it is an interactive project, Santiago students always kept in touch via internet with students and other projects participating schools.
