Sopitas.com Art Jasper and shawl: guidelines for the preservation

of a tradition
From 3 to July 7 will be held in the Museo Franz Mayer encounter Jasper Art and shawl: guidelines for the conservation of a tradition, in order to share knowledge and experiences lili simmons that will foster discussion of viable alternatives and strategies for protection, dissemination and promotion of the textile garment.

The seminar, consisting of 16 papers will be held on 3 and 4 July, which will discuss, among other issues, risks and developments in the history of shawl production, methods of conservation, restoration parts textiles, as well as the importance of preserving a tradition invaluable social, cultural and historical to Mexico.
